Summary:
Measure A & B 5 year contract. The farmer will choose either A or B. Measure A is for the participants who were in BDGP on 1 June 2021 with B for those who were not in BDGP previously or not in BDGP on 1 June 2021.
4 mandatory actions must be met for both A & B participants in each year of the scheme i.e. genotyping, weighing, replacement strategy and data recording. In both A & B there are two complimentary options e.g. forage quality and faecal egg testing.
Farmers must be a member of Bord Bia quality assurance.
