Agricultural Advisor Position: 01/09/2023

Dolan Consultancy is a family owned advisory service based in Craughwell, Co Galway. We assist our farmer clients with Common Agricultural Policy Government grant applications such as ACRES, BISS, TAMS 3, Knowledge Transfer Discussion Groups, & Farm Valuations. 

At Dolan Consultancy we aim to support farmers with advise tailored to suit their own farms. We are currently seeking a highly motivated individual to service our client base and help expand the business.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Maintaining and servicing existing client relations.

• ACRES Environmental Plans.

• Knowledge Transfer Facilitator 2024.

• Organic Farm Plans.

• Expanding our existing network and building business relationships. 

Successful Candidate Requirements:

• Hold a primary honors degree qualification at Level 8 on the National Framework of Qualifications (NFQ) in Agricultural Science, and Have taken soil science and an animal or crop production subject as part of the Level 8 Degree.

• Full Drivers License.

• Ability to work independently and part of a team.

• Strong Communication Skills.

• Strong Presentation Skills for Discussion Groups.

• Specialized Knowledge with Equines and/or Dairy and/or Accountancy beneficial but not essential.

Salary Range & Career Progression:

Salary negotiable dependent on experience and qualifications. Opportunity for career progression within the company.
